because it was here that archaeologists discovered
2,5 million year old fossil of Mrs. Ples as
well as the 100,000 year old remains of modern humankind of
Homo Hablis. Many of South Africa's cultures have their roots
in an ancient world of the Bushman of the Kalahari some
25,000 yrs ago, whilst most of the Bantu cultures
are relatively new, these migrated from Central and East African
regions around 1200 to 1400 AD. The Europeans started to arrive
in the late 1400's with the Portuguese, the Dutch and
the British, many Historical Battlefield sites
still survive from the colonial invasion into South Africa.
Cape Town is one of the most popular cities in the world and with one visit it is clear to see why. The mountainous scenery is spectacular, the rugged coastline is magnificent and the activities to entertain are endless. The scuba diving in Cape Town provides a great diversity of marine life; this is attributed to the differences in sea temperature created by the cold Benguela and warm Agulhas currents colliding off the Cape peninsula.

of Pilgrims Rest while listening to the many stories of the
Gold era and a bygone age of the early pioneers. Our travels
will take you through the upper escarpment to the Blyderiver
Canyon and the three rondawels, the evolution of the
Bourke's Luck Potholes and the views from Gods
Window that the early pioneers found while passing through to
find new settlements to the North. As we descend into the lowveld
we enter the famous Kruger National Park with
a chance of seeing the Big 5 of the animal kingdom of the Lion,
Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and the elusive Leopard. The tour offers

On arrival at ORT airport Johannesburg South Africa we travel
by road through the lower meander scenic route into the old
gold town of Pilgrims Rest while listening
to the many stories of the Gold era and a bygone age of the
early pioneers. As we drop down onto the lowveldt we enter the
famous Kruger National Park with a chance of
seeing the Big 5 of the animal kingdom of the Lion, Elephant,
Rhino, Buffalo and the elusive Leopard. Our travels takes you
into the Kingdom of Swaziland to visit the
Matsamo Swazi Cultural Village
enabling you to interact with one of Southern Africa's oldest
tribes. We enter into the province of KwaZulu-Natal of the early
settlers and some of the Battlefields around
the siege of Ladysmith. We also get an opportunity
to ascend the 4 wheel drive route of the rugged Sani
Pass in the southern Drakensberg where we take a 4x4
drive up the old trading route following the early traders and
missionaries into the mountain Kingdom of Lesotho.
The pass reaches an altitude of 2874 m. After lunch at the highest
Pub in Africa we visit one of the villages where we see a simpler
way of life.

your arrival in Johannesburg our journey takes you into the
upper meander of the Blyderiver Canyon, the
evolution of Bourke's Luck Potholes and Gods Window while traveling
through the little village of Graskop and into the famous Kruger
National Park, Here we spend three nights in the main

into the Rhino conservation game reserve of Hluhluwe
of the BIG 5 as well as the many antelope that roam freely,
we take a game drive in open safari vehicles stopping for a
picnic lunch in a safe area near one of the streams. After an
early breakfast we travel into the mountain Kingdom of Swaziland
passing through the sugar plantations that extend from Durban
in the south to Mozambique in the north, and into the mountainous
wooded region with the abundance of timber that is used for
the paper pulp industry. Swaziland is known as the the Switzerland
of Africa, we also have the opportunity of visiting the Cultural
Village of Motsamo to experience one of the oldest
cultures in Africa within their own environment. Departing Swaziland
we travel into the famous Kruger National Park
with an early morning game drive in open safari vehicles, the
Kruger Park is one of the oldest proclaimed game reserves in
Africa which today covers almost 2 million hectares. Traveling
west we take a tour of the Capital City of Pretoria
and the Gold City of Johannesburg known as
"Egoli" the city of gold as well as the township of
Soweto with lunch at one of the shabeens
We return to Johannesburg for your flight to Victoria Falls with walking tours and a scenic helicopter flight at the falls as well as a day trip into the Chobe reserve in Botswana, you return back to Jo'Burg South Africa for your onward journey.
