Botswana Photo Safari

African Sunset

On Safari in Africa

Authentic Classical Photographic Safari, the way our forerunners used to do them. Fully serviced, sleeping in tents, guests don't need to worry about anything other then enjoy the vistas and the game that Botswana as to offer !

With Mobile Tented Safaris, our camp moves to different locations. On moving days, guests go on an early game-drive and enjoy a picnic lunch under a shady tree. Late afternoon they return to a newly set-up camp in a different location. The advantage of this is that we can show the guests different areas in Botswana depending on the season and the migration of the game. We don't move on a daily basis as we strongly believe that one must stay in an area for a while to fully appreciate it. Accommodation

Camp facilitiesThe mobile camps are set up in prime areas, using designated exclusive camps.

The camps are set up in the following way:-
Client's accommodation consists of spacious walk-in tents, complete with beds; linen and all the amenities needed for a luxury stay in the bush. Each tent has its own shower and long-drop toilets not en-suite), situated not far from the tents.

The mess tent is the area where meals and beverages are served and where guests spend the evening reliving theMess Tent highlights of the day. Meals are prepared to the highest standard, served with a selection of the best South African wines.

The kitchen area is the central working area of any camp. All meals are prepared around a central cooking fire, which is also used for heating the water for hot showers and from which the coals are extracted and used for the coal iron. This is also the area where the laundry is done, where a bush workshop is situated and where all the camp's equipment is stored. A hive of activity!

The staff camp is usually around the kitchen area and is where the staff stays. Chefs, drivers, waiters, tent-keepers, all are Botswana citizens who share the love of this unique place and a life in the African bush.

The vehicles used are designed for comfort and are excellent for game viewing with built in roof hatches. The amenities in the vehicle include a car fridge for cold drinks and for keeping film cool, specially adapted camera supports for the keen photographer, bean bags for extra camera support, full medical box, a radio in case of an emergency, tool jacks and vehicle spares.

Set Date Departure Safaris - the itineraries and dates are fixed. These safaris are cheaper than tailor-made Safaris as different people can join in. We need a minimum of 4 x people upto a maximum of 12 x people.

The tailor-made Safaris are specially designed itinerariesdepending on the clients requests. These are private safaris and are only for that specific person or group. If the client wishes to combine for example the desert and the Okavango, we can put an itinerary together for them - all depending on availability of exclusive campsites.
